I’m back to square one.

There are 55 days left until 2026.

Yikes, I know.

And with 55 days to go, I’m back to square one.

You guys may have noticed I’ve tried a bunch of different businesses this year.

  • 1:1 Confidence coaching
  • Writing and selling an eBook
  • Growing my YouTube channel
  • The Cozy Corner Membership

And your support, advice and feedback has been amazing.

I’ve learnt so much along the way.

Shoutout to my first few clients/members (I know you’re reading this email!)

In 2025, I set myself the goal to build a successful business, so I would have the option to quit my day job.

And with 55 days until 2026, it’s safe to say I failed at that goal.

I wasn't even close.

But I’m not mad about it.

  • Coaching you guys was one of the most rewarding things I’ver done. ❤️
  • And writing an ebook is the reason why I started this newsletter.
  • YouTube has brought me so many opportunities.

Everything I've learnt has been worth the 6am wake ups and late nights.

But it’s making me take a different approach next year.

I'm going back to square one.

I had the best brunch with a friend, Lydie from Lydie and Hazal.

(This is Duck & Waffle in London, I highly recommend)

She’s also a doctor who’s grown a following online.

And now she’s taking the leap to build a business building personal brands for founders and business owners.

Our conversation was super inspiring. I literally had to stop mid-waffle and start taking notes on my phone. Our conversation gave me so many ideas.

Lydie gave me the confidence to be a beginner all over again.

I literally eat, sleep and breathe YouTube.

It hit me that, maybe I could teach content creators how to grow on YouTube.

I use all this knowledge for myself, why don't I teach others?

So I just did it.

I didn’t overthink, I just started posting some videos to get my first few clients. And it’s reminded me how humbling being a beginner all over again can be.

My views are literally on the floor 😬, but that’s okay.

Being a beginner doesn’t last forever.

  • You have to be a beginner, before you become an expert.
  • You have to be embarrassing, before you're admired.
  • You have to look cringe, before you look impressive.

And best of all…

It’s temporary.

And once it’s over, you’ll be so glad you kept going :)

What are you embracing as a beginner right now?

Hit reply and let me know.

Much love,

Christina Aaliyah
